How To Choose A Wedding Planner: The Interview Part

Ever thought of hiring a wedding planner? Here are several questions you can ask when interviewing them:

1) Ask to review the planner's current portfolio - past weddings, events or parties

2) How long have the planner been in the business?

3) Does the planner have a valid, recommendable list of vendors and clientele from whom you can ask for testimonials?

4) What kind of services does the planner offer? A proper wedding planner should be able to offer the basic services such as budget management, theme ideas and consultations.

5) Can the planner work within your budget?

6) Does the planner suit your personal style?

7) Is the planner well-informed about the wedding industry? You can ask the planner to share the experience about a wedding he or she planned.

8) How does the planner charge and what services are chargeable?

9) Will the planner be at the rehearsal and wedding day throughout?

10) Does the planner have a contract? Ask for a copy.
